ABOUT

Patrick Brassard

PHOTOGRAPHY + ART DIRECTION

BASED IN NYC

Born in the USA in 1988 to a traditional Catholic family, remote from the worlds of fashion and Hollywood, Brassard moved from a small town in New Hampshire to New York in 2009. It was during apprenticeships at the studios of Sante D' Orazio and Robert Farber that he made his first attempts as a photographer, inspired by how photography masters documented the society of their times. Brassard would travel up to 9 hours a day via bus for over 2 years to work alongside them. He also had the rare opportunity to work with many prominent fashion photographers including Anne Menke, Sante D'Orazio, Ben Lamberty, Bruce Weber, Russell James, Indira Cesarine among many other creatives. As a young man in his early 20's he was able to see the world and meet many talented and beautifully creative souls. During this time he crafted and developed his personal style. His career began tentatively with a commission to photograph the first female Secretary of State Madeline Albright for St. John Boutique . Followed by numerous fashion editorials and campaigns for various magazines and news outlets around the world.

He has documented subjects from A-list stars, muses, supermodels and artists, to subjects that he has encountered throughout his travels, from magnificent cities by night to mysterious landscapes and private soirees.
